A 3-0 win against Parsons marks consecutive district victories for the Comets.
Junior Eli Uhner scored the first goal of the match, which was then followed with a goal by defender Mike Stanley. Senior Carter Fosha ended the match with the third and final goal against the Parsons Vikings.

FOOTBALL 9/15
The Comets were defeated 21-38 Friday night in an away game against Tonganoxie, bringing their record to 2-1.
Issues on defense as well as 140 yards of penalties kept the Comets from capitalizing on the large passing plays that sustained them throughout the game.
Chanute will face Ulysses at home on Friday, September 22 for Chanute’s 4th game of the season.
SOCCER 9/18
After having played against the Vikings on Friday, the Comets faced them once again on Monday, this time at Parsons. The final score came out 1-0 after both teams struggled to gain momentum on offense.
Chanute will play Paola on September 21 at home next.
SOCCER 9/22
In their most dominant victory to date, the Blue Comets steamrolled Paola 7-0 Thursday night.
Blitzing attacks from the offense and a high turnover rate by Paola gave the Comets the perfect opportunity to run up the score.
Forward Eli Uhner scored his 21st goal for the Comets while also netting a hat trick. He is only a few goals away from setting the individual scoring record for the Comets while still being in the early stages of his junior year season.
The remaining goals were scored by Noah Herman, Mike Stanely, Carter Fosha, and Lawrence Chaney.
The Comets will face Louisburg at home on September 26 next.
