Many seniors have passed through Chanute High School’s halls, many have come and gone without leaving a lasting impression in their high school years. Those senior types do not describe Eli Uhner. 

Eli Uhner is a senior at Chanute High School who plans on going to Neosho Community College after he graduates to finish off his electives and then transfer over into finance or business. 

Uhner was asked how he felt about being a senior. “Well, it’s kind of sad to have my last season of everything, but I’m happy with how everything turned out, and how I’ve grown and developed over the years.” Uhner said.

Uhner scored 12 goals this season, and is the all-time goal scorer of CHS, and will most likely be so for many more years to come. 

When asked if Uhner regretted anything about his years at CHS, he said, “I don’t regret anything.”
